Getting There

We are located on Alma School Rd just north of Chandler Blvd. From US-60, go south on Alma School Rd. approximately 5 miles, our building is just past Galveston, on the left.

From I-10, go east on Ray approximately 5.5 miles, turn south on Alma School Rd., the church is just past Galveston, on the left.

Sunday Bible Study

In order to further understand the Bible and apply its messages to the lives of children and adults, the Alma School Church of Christ conducts weekly Bible studies (Bible School). Although not part of the formal worship service, Sunday Bible Study allows all age groups to interact with teachers and other members to study the Bible in classes specific to age (school age children) and/or topic.

Sunday AM Worship

Sunday morning worship services are characterized by the following:

• Congregational A Cappella singing (no musical instruments), directed by a song leader
• Prayers - fervent appeals to God throughout the services, led by service participants
• Observance of the Lord's Supper, served by service participants
• Simple Christ-centered and Bible-filled sermons designed to teach and uplift, presented by the church's minister, Keith Shepherd
• Contribution

Sunday PM Worship

Sunday PM worship services are very similar to the morning worship service, except the Lord's Supper is partaken by those members who were unable to partake in the morning. The evening worship is another chance for Christians to come together and worship the Lord in unity.

Wednesday Bible Study

Similar in format to the Sunday Bible Study with the exception that classes are preceded by a short devotional.
